Face it, showing horses and putting on horse shows takes a lot of help! Volunteering at South Farm is exciting and fun and an important component to a successful show. We need help with all of our shows, for the July Horse Trial we have nearly 70 volunteers helping out and enjoying the atmosphere. Join in and volunteer while watching great horses and their riders compete over the beautiful show grounds just east of Middlefield. Please send Sarah Greer and email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call South Farm at 440-632-5501 if interested in being part of our South Farm family.
Starting with our May 6th and May 7th combined test we could use in-gate personnel, stadium scribing, dressage score tabulating and general show prep help before the show.
We can also help your kids get out and experience open spaces and enjoy the camaraderie and sense of accomplishment that being part of something big will give them. Volunteering at South Farm can also take care of those pesky hours that some young adults need to accumulate.
As we gradually prepare for the “BIG ONE” - our nationally sanctioned Horse Trial on July 1st and 2nd - we will have cross country jumps to stain, plants to take care of, decorating, hay to make, etc......
Please, our shows would not have been as successful as they have been without a great team of volunteers. Get involved, join in and have fun!
